Samsung Electronics announces the HMX10C HD camcorder, providing consumers with a wide range of easy-to-use, high-performance features and stunning designs. Samsung’s advanced Flash Memory technology provides a lot of user benefits such as longer battery life and QuickStart in 3 second. The Samsung HMX10C HD camcorder also offers a new iCheck button providing status information on remaining battery time and memory capacity. The Samsung HD camcorder was designed with the consumer in mind enough to place neighbor to TV and PC, not in the closet. The Samsung HMX10C HD is compact enough to fit in the palm and is easy to use with innovative touch screens.

The Samsung HD camcorder has been carefully designed to fit comfortably into the user’s hand without sacrificing style. The unique Swivel grip - able to rotate an amazing 135 degrees - provides an easy way for consumers not only to hold the camcorder but also to shoot video at very low or high angles. The Samsung VP-HMX10C is a compact HD camcorder. It delivers amazing HD picture quality resolution easily viewed on the 2.7-inch high-resolution touch panel LCD screen. Samsung’s 50 fps Progressive technology enables the HMX10C camcorder to capture exceptionally detailed videos, recording to 8 GB of internal flash memory(2HRs recording), working in H. 264 at 720p or SD/SDHC/MMC+ cards that extend more recording capacity. Samsung’s new camcorder also boasts 10x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, with a battery life of 90 minutes. The Samsung HMX10C HD camcorder will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
