Casio EX-FC160s

IFA 2010 Show - There is another Casio Exilim digital camera introduced in Japan only, the new Casio Exilim EX-FC160s. It seems that the Casio FC160s is an upgrade of the FC150 and especially aimed at the sports minded action photographer. Maybe that is also where the ‘s’ of FC160s stands for? The Casio Exilim FC160s digital camera features a 10.6 Megapixel backside-illuminated sensor and supports high speed shooting like capturing a magnificent ‘birdie’ of a golfer at 1000 fps. The new Casio EX-FC160 sports camera belongs to the High Speed cameras in the Exilim series and as a result, stands out from the masses. An interesting little compact camera, although we wonder how many consumers actually use such fast shooting features…

IFA Show Report : Casio announces the release of the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z800 digital camera, marking the latest addition to the Exilim family of digital cameras. The Casio Exilim Z800 sports advanced features in a slim, compact and stylish body, including a Single Frame SR Zoom that extends the zoom range. The new Casio EX-Z800 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution, while the Single Frame SR Zoom maintains image quality through 1.5 times the range of the optical zoom. Other features include the highly-regarded Premium Auto function, which automatically produces beautiful photos with just a press of the shutter button.

Ricoh G700

IFA 2010 news - Ricoh releases the new Ricoh G700 digital camera with water and dust resistance for safe and reliable use even in difficult environments such as those encountered in on-site work situations. Successor model to the popular Ricoh G600, the new Ricoh G700 shock resistant camera has achieved shock resistance capable of withstanding a 2.0 m drop (1.5 m when wide conversion lens is attached) in Ricoh drop testing carried out based on US Department of Defense standards, and it is also capable of underwater shooting for up to two hours at depths up to 5.0 m. In addition, the Ricoh G700 features newly added chemical resistance to ethanol and hypochlorous acid as well as strengthened security functions such as password-protection.

Ricoh CX4

IFA 2010 report : Ricoh announces the release of the new CX4 compact digital camera. This new design offers high-power (10.7×), wide-angle 28-300 mm optical zoom and improved image-sensor-shift image stabilization in a workmanlike yet stylish package. The new Ricoh CX4’s evolved image-sensor-shift image stabilization reduces blur on average by the equivalent of about 3.7 EV-3.7 shutter-speed stops-for improved performance under dim indoor lighting and at high zoom ratios. The Ricoh CX4 camera also offers a new "subject-tracking AF" autofocus system that automatically tracks your subject, ensuring that photographs are in focus and correctly exposed whenever you choose to release the shutter.

IFA NEWS 2017 REPORT - The IFA International Consumer Electronics Show took place every two years, but since 2006 the IFA show became once again an annual event under Berlin’s famous Funkturm landmark. In the early days, back in 1924 the IFA began in Berlin as the “Great German Radio Exhibition”. In the meantime, the International Consumer Electronics Show has not only become the world's biggest trade show for consumer electronics but also presents the world's largest number of product premieres in consumer electronics and home appliances. At IFA 2009 more than 3 billion Euros worth of orders were generated. IFA 2010 could even surpass this number! The total number of exhibitors at last year’s IFA show was 1164 from 46 countries. The total number of trade visitors was 134194 from 105 countries, quite amazing numbers. The IFA 2010 show news will come to you live from the show floor, so stay tuned!
