LG AX380 Wave

Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, makes waves this summer with the introduction of the Wave by LG. The phone, exclusively available at Alltel Wireless retail stores and its web site, has a rolling design that mimics the curl of a wave as the deep colors fade into black. The phone includes a 1.3 MP camera with video capabilities, MP3 player with external controls, expandable memory slot, Bluetooth technology and is GPS capable. It also comes preloaded with Alltel Axcess features such as Axcess TV and Axcess Search. Customers can also download games, ringtones and more via Alltel’s Axcess Shop. LG Wave AX380 is available for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.

1Gb mobile DRAM

Hynix Semiconductor, Inc. announced it has developed the industry's smallest 1Gb mobile DRAM. Mobile DRAMs are widely used in wireless and handheld applications such as mobile phones, digital still and video cameras, PDAs, PMPs, and GPS Navigation systems. These products are now designed in smaller and smaller packages reducing the size of the battery. Hynix's Mobile DRAMs are designed to meet the memory requirements of feature-rich portable applications that demand high memory density, high throughput and very low power dissipation features in a small form factor package. The product is also the industry's first commercially available 1Gb mobile DRAM built on Hynix's 66 nm process technology.

Fantasea FS underwater housings

Apple iPhone Games

Sudoku, Match Three and Collapsing Blocks are the first three games to be released for the Apple iPhone from MacMost. The mobile iPhone games can be played for free by Apple iPhone users by simply using their iPhone to browse to the MacMost website. MacMost is a Apple enthusiast site with news, tutorials and a weekly video podcast. It is produced by CleverMedia, an Internet content company that has created more than 300 Web-based games since 1995. Gary Rosenzweig, founder of CleverMedia and executive producer of MacMost, created the games in anticipation of the Apple iPhone launch, without being able to test the games until the Apple iPhone was released on June 29.

Bogen Imaging Factory Report

A few weeks ago LetsGoDigital was invited to visit the factories of Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger in Italy. Four days in sunny Italy to get a better idea of how the high quality products of Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger are made. The factories are in Feltre, right in the heart of a beautiful mountain site. Arriving at the factories, right away I had the feeling of a relaxed atmosphere with good working circumstances. If looking at the products, at Manfrotto, Gitzo and Avenger you will find anything a photographer might need to place or secure his camera, flashes, studio equipment etc. The following Bogen Imaging Factory Tour report will give you a look behind the scenes.
