The Nikon Coolpix Performance Series was designed with camera lovers in mind. The Nikon Coolpix P5100 is available in basic black with a classic camera ‘look’. Features that make this a classic camera are the optical viewfinder, stable grip and a functional body design. The magnesium alloy body of the Nikon P5100 provides ruggedness and high-quality texture, with an upgraded Mode dial and other controls. The Nikon Coolpix P5100 offers 12.1 effective Megapixels of resolution, Nikon’s new and innovative EXPEED digital image processing concept and a 3.5x Zoom-NIKKOR lens with optical lens shift VR image stabilization that limits blur and provides the equivalent of a faster shutter speed.

Features that make this a classic camera are the optical viewfinder, stable grip and a functional body design. The Nikon Coolpix P50 camera offers High-Sensitivity mode up to 2000 ISO, which automatically selects the optimal light sensitivity setting to further prevent blurred shots when shooting in lower light, or when capturing fast-moving subjects. The Nikon Coolpix P50 features a 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR lens with 28mm wide-angle capability that covers a range from panoramic landscapes to close-up portraits.

In the period before, during and just after the IFA 2007 event a lot of interesting digital cameras are introduced and will be introduced. Among them are digital SLR cameras, a product that has become very popular among the digital camera users. The IFA 2007 consumer electronics trade show is a great time to showcase the new cameras and its innovations. Though the camera is a product that has been around for a while, this product is still evoluting and incorporated high-end techniques. This year we have seen an upgrade in resolution in the compact camera segment with a maximum, for now, of an impressive 12 Megapixels.
