Kodak unveiled a new product aimed at helping consumers bring photos back into their homes and into their lives by expanding the possibilities for image display. Millions of digital pictures are captured every year, but most remain trapped in digital cameras or on home computers. Kodak unveiled a suite of new products; Kodak EasyShare V1233, EasyShare V1253 and EasyShare Z812 IS digital cameras, a EasyShare SV1011 digital picture frame and a HDTV Dock. The new products are aimed at helping consumers bring photos back into their lives by expanding the possibilities for image capture and display. Kodak EasyShare V1253

Right before the IFA 2007 show in Berlin begins another compact camera makes it appearance in the good old Google search engine. Although the camera is not confirmed by Kodak we may assume that the Kodak EasyShare V1253 will be introduced very soon. The Kodak V1253 camera offer 12 Megapixels resolution and is capable of shooting pictures at up to 4,000x3000 pixels. And like the new EasyShare Z812 IS the Kodak EasyShare V1253 is able to shoot video at up to 720p resolution; high definition is the key feature. The back of the camera shows a large LCD 16:9 high resolution indoor/outdoor 3.1-inch widescreen color display offering good brightness and clarity, even in direct sunlight.

Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS

Thanks to Jeff Keller from DCResource for spotting this news, we are able to inform you about a new upcoming Kodak EasyShare camera; the Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS Megazoom camera. Although the information is not official yet, thanks to Google’s cache there are some Kodak information pages available with the following specifications. The Kodak Z812 IS features a 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization and 8.2 Megapixel resolution. High Definition is the latest hot feature, at least according to those camera manufacturers who offer HD on its camera series, and we notice that the Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS also offers HD quality photos and 720p (30 fps) video.
