The back of the camera shows a large LCD 16:9 high resolution indoor/outdoor 3.1-inch widescreen color display offering good brightness and clarity, even in direct sunlight.

Although the information is not official yet, thanks to Google’s cache there are some Kodak information pages available with the following specifications. The Kodak Z812 IS features a 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization and 8.2 Megapixel resolution. High Definition is the latest hot feature, at least according to those camera manufacturers who offer HD on its camera series, and we notice that the Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS also offers HD quality photos and 720p (30 fps) video.
