Right before the IFA 2007 event in Germany begins another Kodak camera is leaked via Kodak’s camera website. Although the camera is not confirmed by Kodak we may assume that the Kodak EasyShare V1233 will be introduced very soon. The Kodak V1233 camera offer 12 Megapixels resolution and is capable of shooting pictures at up to 4,000x3000 pixels. And like the new EasyShare Z812 IS the Kodak EasyShare V1233 is able to shoot video at up to 720p resolution; high definition is the key feature. The back of the Kodak EasyShare 1233 digital compact camera shows a large LCD high resolution indoor/outdoor 2.5-inch color display offering good brightness and clarity, even in direct sunlight.

Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS

Thanks to Jeff Keller from DCResource for spotting this news, we are able to inform you about a new upcoming Kodak EasyShare camera; the Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS Megazoom camera. Although the information is not official yet, thanks to Google’s cache there are some Kodak information pages available with the following specifications. The Kodak Z812 IS features a 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization and 8.2 Megapixel resolution. High Definition is the latest hot feature, at least according to those camera manufacturers who offer HD on its camera series, and we notice that the Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS also offers HD quality photos and 720p (30 fps) video.

The IFA International Consumer Electronics Show took place every two years, but since 2006 the IFA show became once again an annual event under Berlin’s famous Funkturm landmark. In the early days, back in 1924 the IFA began in Berlin as the “Great German Radio Exhibition”. In the meantime, the International Consumer Electronics Show has not only become the world's biggest trade show for consumer electronics but also presents the world's largest number of product premieres in consumer electronics and home appliances. At IFA 2009 more than 3 billion Euros worth of orders were generated. IFA 2010 could even surpass this number! The total number of exhibitors at last year’s IFA show was 1164 from 46 countries.
