The British company Continental Mobiles has been selling exclusive cell phones and iPods online since September 2006. Gold versions of various cell phone brands and models are being sold. In addition, Continental Mobiles offer various mobile phones with embedded diamonds. All purchases are delivered with a so-called 'Gold Card', which stands for the exclusively British manufacturing of the product. Even though the Apple iPhone in itself is already a unique device, the combination with the additions of Continental Mobiles ensures that you, as a user, are guaranteed not to meet a similar phone.

LG KU990 Viewty

Every day we think we’re ready, packed and set to go and cover the IFA 2007 show in Berlin live from the show floor. And every time there is another new mobile phone out there that needs our attention. This time it is the so called “Apple iPhone killer” from LG, the LG KU990. According to information that is not confirmed by LG or Vodafone we may expect the LG KU990 to be accompanied by Vodafone in the UK. The LG 990 is a camphone with a high sensor resolution of 5 Megapixels, image stabilisation, Schneider-Kreuznach lens and a XENON flash. Furthermore expect auto focus, 3G HSDPA, 170MB internal memory, a 240 x 400 touchscreen and a high sensitivity setting for the enthusiastic digital photographer.

Sony Ericsson’s new Sony Ericsson K770 Cybershot phone, announced today, is a digital camera, a photo album and an elegant phone all in-one. Still a phone first and foremost, it allows you to send and share your photos as soon as you’ve taken them. At just 14.5mm slim and finished in a fashionable Truffle Brown, the Sony Ericsson K770 can take pictures as good as a standalone digital camera; pictures can be printed up to A4 size. The camera can also be used for video and comes with a powerful photo light for indoor photo-taking and filming. The Sony Ericsson K770 is a GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 and UMTS 2100 phone that will be available in Truffle Brown in selected markets from autumn 2007.

LG AX380 Wave

Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, makes waves this summer with the introduction of the Wave by LG. The phone, exclusively available at Alltel Wireless retail stores and its web site, has a rolling design that mimics the curl of a wave as the deep colors fade into black. The phone includes a 1.3 MP camera with video capabilities, MP3 player with external controls, expandable memory slot, Bluetooth technology and is GPS capable. It also comes preloaded with Alltel Axcess features such as Axcess TV and Axcess Search. Customers can also download games, ringtones and more via Alltel’s Axcess Shop. LG Wave AX380 is available for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Casio Exilim Keitai C53CA

Digital camera enthusiasts are all familiar with the Exilim series Casio offers, but we still have to see the first Exilim mobile phone to reach the market outside Asia. Casio Korea is proud to introduce their high resolution mobile camera phone; the Casio Exilim Keitai C53CA. Unfortunately, for now, we will not be able to get a sample in our hands because the Casio Keitai C53CA is for the Asian (Japan) market only. Casio is one of the pioneers of the digital camera market and is already active for more than a decade. The stunning designed Exilim cameras are famous all over the world and often copied by the competition.

Sure the mobile imaging industry has its impact on the traditional photo manufacturer, however the digicam is still a still strong device!
