The new image processing LSI the Venus Engine HD II achieves high picture quality in both photo and HD movie recording. IFA 2010 Report - Panasonic announced the newest addition to its popular Lumix FZ-Series digital cameras. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40, a feature-packed, hybrid digital camera, combines a powerful 24x optical zoom and creative manual operations to offer photographers of all levels the opportunity to take crisp, artistic photos and High Definition (HD) videos. This 14.1-megapixel model features a 25mm ultra-wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens and a new image processing system which achieves high picture quality for both still images and videos. The Panasonic Lumix FZ40 joins the Panasonic Lumix FZ100, also newly introduced.
Panasonic is pleased to introduce its second digital single-lens reflex camera with an interchangeable lens, the Panasonic DMC-L10. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10 digital SLR camera features an advanced 2.5-inch free angle LCD monitor for full time live view that offers 270 degree rotation and a versatile shooting style. A 10.1 Megapixel Live MOS Sensor provides the beautiful images with delicate gradation and wide dynamic range. Dust reduction with a Supersonic Wave Filter system prevents dust from attaching to the sensor to degrade the pictures. The Panasonic L10 SLR camera’s superb image processor, Venus Engine III, boasts a high quality image rendering and high speed response.
At the press conference in Dublin I was able to shoot with the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 digital Megazoom camera. The Panasonic Lumix FZ18 is a camera for the photographer who is into a variety of photographic shooting. Although the camera is easy to handle and incorporates a range of pre-programmed scenes, it is offering a range of photographic settings like P/S/A/M for the more experienced photographer. I took the Panasonic camera with me to the Dublin area and was able to test the new intelligent camera features in combination with the MEGA O.I.S system. I have to remind you that the images of the Panasonic Lumix FZ18 are still a pre-production level, not final level!
