Software plays an important role in today’s electronic world. Look at the impressive world of Apps like the Apple App store where millions of applications get downloaded every day. Without those software applications today’s smartphone would definitely be less attractive. Digital compact camera and DSLR cameras also benefit greatly from software. Even some of the lenses that are made for cameras like the Panasonic Lumix Micro Four Thirds System cameras benefit from the software corrections that take place in the camera itself. But also features like Face Detection & Recognitions are software based and bring extra value to the photographer’s camera. At IFA 2010 manufactures will show their latest software innovations to the public. We bet 3D will steal the show! Check out our special International Consumer Electronics IFA show report.
